how much did all of this set you back ? if you dont mind me asking including shipping and receiving ?

Don't mind at all......

Originally I was just gonna send it in for the bulb repair-that would have been $100 with return shipping included. Curt recommended getting the stepper motors replaced because he said 02-05 and some 06 have weak steppers-especially when you start taking the needles off and on. So the complete cluster overhaul was $170 with return shipping included. I added the Esky bezel for another $100. So all in all-it was $270 plus it cost me $16 to ship it there(so $286). He has tons of clusters and a core program as well. He does LED bulbs too.........

I want to add a chrome bull bar to my hoe...but get a bunch of shit from the wife about adding things. Is the price of equipment and labor expensive?

About 350miles, mostly freeway, up over 4k feet and back down. We did hit traffic at some points, cruise was rarely used.

I really never drove for more then roughly 70 miles in one stretch on the freeway since I got my rig, as I rarerly have to get on the freeway. I have never taken a longer trip.

I wonder if I would get anything close to your number if I traveled on the freeway for 350 miles?

Jason Thanks for replaying back. Now only if my cluster had a Transmission Gauge i would be all over this.. I need a Escalade Cluster bad but then again i dont want to deal with all the programming stuff and finding someone here locally seems like a pita.

No problem...you should check out his ebay page: http://stores.ebay.com/SPEEDOMETER-SALES-AND-SERVICE

You could always do a swap for a one with a trans temp gauge-he said it would be plug and play because he does the programming.... he has a ton of clusters to choose from plus you could always call and he could make one to your liking.

Was lucky enough to meet up with Justin while he was in town for thanksgiving and get my blackbear tune. All I can say is wow, best $250 spent on my hoe. According to instant and average mpg I've gained 2 mpg. I'm more than pleased with performance and gains

Started on the big 3. got one put on and the others made b4 the the wife had to take the tahoe to her sisters. Got 1/0 KnuKoncepts wire off ebay, 10' for $26 i think it was, and the shrink tube various sizes for cheap(ebay), and the terminals ebay again. Soldered the wire to the terminals, wire was a lil big so so had to trim a lil bit to fit into teriminal.

Drained and refilled the transfer case with GM Auto Trak 2 fluid. Been meaning to do it since I got the truck 9 months ago, and I'm glad I did. Doesn't look like the previous owners had ever changed it out. Also replaced the rear shaft seal and greased the driveline splines.

Took all the plastic pieces that go on the front and rear bumpers and am currently giving them a fresh coat of black paint to match the painted lower valence I did awhile ago.
