My Brother and I installed the Monroe Reflex from Advanced Auto on his 2004 Tahoe about 3 months ago. I liked them enough to put them on all 4 corners of mine last month. Great shocks without breaking the bank. Buy them online and use the coupon code "Visa" to save $50.00 and shipping is free to boot.

PIECES OF SHIT :emotions122: at least IMO ok maybe not that bad but bilstiens are better i had to go with monroes because of cash flow but im not liking them a whole lot they didnt help my body bounce a whole lot the worn bilstiens were a little more forgiving too these seem awfully stiff kinda feels like im riding on cut springs going back to bils asap

i have them on my 96 and i really dont like them, the truck feels like an old boat. up and down hills the truck keeps swaying for a good 3-4 seconds after the hill

KYB Monotube's stopped the float for me. Much more firm and controlled ride. Have been runing them for about 20k and they are great. More than monroes but less than bilsteins.

To each his own obviously. To be fair Monroe has at least 3 levels of shocks. Not sure what others ran and had such a bad experience but i will stand behind my recommendation on the "Reflex". No there not Bilstiens but they are a great shock for the money. They tame my 35's and some mild off-roading just fine. For me they fit the bill as good shock to ride before i complete the SAS. just my o2...good luck on your decision.
