he is getting it out the bank tomorrow actually and just meeting up with me saturday because he is two hours away. He is buying the car based off the ebay description page and two video's that I took for him (added the two videos to OP) after I washed the vehicle. Talked to him on the phone for a while and he too enjoys mods so he will def appreciate all the mods that i did to it.

That's a good deal for both of you. :waytogo:

He gets a clean, well looked after, tastefully modded truck ... you get something extra for all the money and effort you put into it. In this economy, that's all one can hope for.

I hope he's aware you'll be calling him for months asking how your truck is. :)

Yea I agree! I took off 2.5 G's off my initial price to fix the scratches on the bumper and to get a new set of tires. I am still losing money but not as much as if I would've traded in the vehicle... Dealerships were offering me 26-28k... pretty terrible.

You need to talk the buyer into joining the forum :)

That could get weird.

Haha that would be pretty nuts. The guy who bought my 01 Z71 Tahoe (Harland) is a member of this forum (i didn't till him about it) so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

Well the 07 black esky I posted pics of is the main one i've been eyeing but it's still in the shop getting the sunroof fixed. Then it has to go to paint and get the rear bumper cover re-painted... I love the car and still want it bc it only has 51k miles on it but honestly i'm kind of uncomfortable buying a car that i -KNOW- has something wrong with it. Hopefully it isn't an issue in the future as long as it gets fixed properly.

:waytogo: makes sense to me and I'd be concerned too. I'll continue waiting anxiously to see the new ride:)

Felix, substitute the word 'car' with the word 'woman' ...

Notwithstanding the mileage :) I'm of the opinion that one should never start a relationship, either with women and/or cars, with something broken hoping that the issue won't resurface.

2 sentimental drachmas. :waytogo:

You bring up a good point Serge. So what would you do? Pass on it? It's in mint condish, priced right, and low mileage. What more could you ask for? Oh yea a broken sunroof and reconditioned rear bumper cover.

The bumper I can live with since it'll be repainted. If I do get the esky and one day it rains and the sunroof starts leaking (again), I'm not going to be a happy camper..
