So after 38 days of being in the shop I got my truck back I swapped/changed the motor, heads, injectors, gaskets, you name it...The mechanic tells me everything did yada yada yada, and that he cant find anything mechanically wrong with truck but that he had a GM Tech scan it and supposedly my computer is bad at times it misses when idled or stopped at a light but other than that it run great and no check engine is on either possible dead bulb so I need some help do buy the computer and take it to the dealer and get it programmed or do I hit up a junk yard and do what from there

Sorry, One more thing is it necessary to run AC Delco Platinums vs Regular AC Delco rapidfires

platinum should be used. That have a single center electrode and single ground electrode.

Have you done a fuel pressure test while driving?

I would then your harnesses a good wiggle to see if you have a broken wire.

the mechanic said that the wires that were in bad shape were soldered back together...I went to autozone and oreilys and got a scan:p0155 and P0303.So is the computer really bad?And there are not AC delco Platinums in my truck so thats going to be another issue I guess

replace your right cylinder bank forward O2 sensor if it has 12v heater power at the connector pink wire with key in on position and have cylinder 3 inspected for a bad wire, plug or something because it is misfiring. have a back-pressure test performed at a muffler shop.
