I finally bit the bullet and got my 22s powdercoated white.

It's just a quick cell phone pic but you get the idea

Turns out I kinda knew the guy so he hooked me up for $150 and then $80 for mount and balance. I didn't figure that was too bad for a totally different look.

and many more from the 80s and 90s. and then they quit doing it. kinda got outdated.

black would have been much better IMO.

shut up burb...nuh uh..not cause i got black rims on my truck, its NEVER going to be out dated hahahahahahhahahahahaa but seriously, the white rims have kinda gotten last decade, black are kinda this decade, who knows, maroon may be next decade. im waiting for the decade when the larger tire/smaller rim comes back so my wife's truck will be in style with her 16s haha

Yeah black is outdated. It's all about colormatched wheels, and white on white is one of the best IMO. It was what I was going for but whatever.

Looks great though tsb. How well does the powdercoat match the white paint?

That looks great.

Who cares is if was this decade or that decade, all that matters is as long as you like it then it doesn't matter what other people think.

The white matches really well in the day, either in the sun or in the shade but it's a little whiter/brighter at night for some reason but not enough to worry about really.

They sandblasted the wheels since the chrome wasn't peeling. Had the chrome been peeling they would have chemically stripped them or the powder would peel eventually.

That is a great deal! I paid 150.00 for my powdercoat and they didn't sandblast/or strip. Just sanded them down. THey were asking over a 100 bux a wheel to sandblast. I just got a set of 20's that I am preparing for next year and I WILL be getting them blasted or stripped.
