Piece by piece... it's happening. I know it's not much to look at right now, but just wait. The finished product in my head is way better. I wanna paint that bumper and grill white so bad...

Well... it looks like an old Chebby!

I'm sure it will look good once you finish it!

There's a few YT channels dedicated to automotive refinishing. I recommend you watch a few. Paint Society is actually coming out with a video soon on how to paint (color match chrome) metal bumpers. But there's other views out there as well.

What part of Texas are you in?

I have to say I was on the fence about posting that pic at all, but then I thought na, because once it's done it would mean more because you'll know exactly what it started out as. I'm gonna try my best not to post anymore til it's finished. About to work on it some more right now

I watched a few of those videos and they did it almost exactly like I had planned. Just go town with a vibrating sander seems to be the ticket along with a good primer. Now, you can't use everything on chrome plastic like you can on chrome steel. I think I can. I think I can....

I've been wanting to paint that for so long. Now I gotta tackle the bumper... then my mission to eliminate all chrome from the truck is almost complete. Chrome nerf bars will be the only thing left and idk if I wanna paint em black or just get different ones. Whatcha think? Feedback is welcomed
