You'll probably net a bit of mileage overall, converters generally lose 1mpg for a 2600-2800 stall but the longtubes + tune will give you about 2mpg.

Had a 3k Stall from circle D. Loved it, and FOR SURE do the trans cooler.
I lost about 2 or so MPG in the city with the converter and I already had the longtubes and tune and all that good stuff. Highway MPG for me was 20-21

Any problems from the yanks or circle d? I'm only familiar with top names for 1000+hp combos

Did some diggin and it seems the tr224 and a 26-2800 converter is the ticket. What do you guys think?

Oh and l33 heads are c5 heads or zo6 heads? Might try and find me some of them.

you will want bigger then that. Stock, 3000 is decent..add that cam and your bumping up your power curve even more...id run at least 3000 for that cam, maybe 3200...

like i said, i cant even notice my 3000 anymore..drives just like stock for the most part when you arnt on the gas hard..
