Was at Walmart earlier today to grab another PF63 and some Mobil1 5W-30.
They were out of the oil...but had 0W-30 Dexos1Gen3 in stock.
Has anyone used this weight oil? Seems like a good summer option vs 0W-20.
Would be for my new '26 Tahoe w/ 5.3.

If your gonna change it yourself, make sure to save receipts for any warranty proof. I would also take some video footage, showing the process and the vehicle and tags.

I do DIY changes and save the receipts and log them all on the penzoil website.

I haven’t taken pictures of the actual oil change. You heard of people being denied warranty with receipts/logs because the inside videotape the oil change?

If you go to a jiffy lube and you save their receipts for the oil changes they don’t provide GM with videos lol.

Jiffy Lube also has a letterhead on their paperwork and a data base that can be accessed from anywhere. The video suggestion is only because of the dealers looking for any way to deny a warranty claim.

Thanks for the feedback...Had to pull the receipt from the Trash!
From the day you buy a vehicle, unless you know 1000% for sure you will never sell it, always keep any parts and shop work receipts in a file for the vehicle. Keep them in chronological order and then if sell it, you can prove your claim of "well taken care of". That alone is worth $500 on the asking price, IMO.
