Go thru and make sure you have all the tools first and make sure you have at least one buddy that will dedicate his weekend to help you. Trust me I did this same drop on my 2001 suburban this past weekend and it was a nightmare trying to do it by myself in my driveway.
the hardest bolt for me to get to was the upper shock bolt on the passenger side. All the rear ac lines are in the way an the bolt is tucked away. Dont remember the size but I had to use a long offset boxed end wrench. Also when you cut the drivers side bump stop off, watch out for the fuel tank! When you put the zerk fittings in, the 90deg one should be installed on the bushing closest to where the torsion bar goes in each arm, and should point towards the ground. I installed mine in the ball joint just to find out after it was ll put together that I cannot access the straight fitting I had put on the back of the A arm, lol. I had to use a vise and a little grease to get the steel sleeves in the shocks. Also had to sand the sleeves for the front shocks, don't know if that was an isolated case but the ones I got did not fit between the ears on the A arms. You could probably prep the shocks before the install day to save you some time. Install the sleeves and make sure they fit between the ears on the arms. I think the arms come with new bolts for the front shocks too. But you use your old hardware with the rear shocks. I have edited this post like 4 times already adding little bits, lol.
