Currently have stock 22" rims with the thin tires on them. I think they are P285/45R22 but I will have to double check.

I hate the ride, I know thinner tires make you feel the road more so I want to have some more meaty tires to absorb the road better.

I have 2" level with between the front shocks and the rear air ride. I think I measured 39" from the top of the wheel well fender to the ground.

What is the biggest tire I can fit on these 22" rims?

I could get smaller rims, but outside of the thin tires there is nothing wrong with my rims and I don't have the money to do all tires and rims.

you could for sure try a 305/45/R22.

If you’re running stock rims you just have to remember the OEM 22’s are 9” wide so the 305 series will for sure have a little more sidewall bulge on a 9” wide rim.

Will the sidewall bulge be enough to hinder clearance?

No…. There are a few members on here running 305/45R22’s on OEM 22” rims with no issue.

I’m pretty sure @olyelr put some on his Tahoe.

Yes. Well, my ex’s tahoe haa. 305/45/22 fit perfectly fine. The sidewall bulge is not that large at all. If you search around i have posted several pics in some threads. She ran toyo at3’s for the first two sets and liked them, now she switched to hankook for this set

Did running the bigger tires help with ride quality at all for her?

Mehhh, i didnt notice any difference. They are essentially the same height, so really no change in sidewall height which is which is what would make a difference

Oh, well that's a bummer. That's kinda what I was looking for.

With the 2” level you could fit a little taller tire on there, but they will most likely be an LT truck type tire like load range E, which most likely would not help your ride quality all that much.

Does yours ride rough or something? My gosh, the vehicles these days ride like clouds in my opinion.

You could go to a 20” wheel or even an 18” for more sidewall.
Yeah, my 2015 rides pretty rough. Always assumed it was the thin tires and road feel. Kinda wanted to put bigger tires on to not buy rims.
