I was pulling off my stock shocks to install my new bilsteins and look what I found

Now i know this isnt how my real coil is supposed to look....

I wonder how that would happen, never happened to me.
What type of shocks are you running?
I say you get some shock extenders, or drop shocks so that will not happn again, its not safe.
