I spent an hour with my local chevy dealer today trying to order my new tahoe. We could not get the vehicle ordered. I am trying to order a new Tahoe with the Diesel and super cruise. Every time we try to add supercruise it converts back to the 6.2 motor. Has any body had this problem?

Actually, was just at my GMC dealer today. He was able to place orders and price XL w/ Duramax, but not the shorty. So may be they just haven’t started production of the shorty’s w/ the 3.0 just yet. Give it a couple weeks.

Same. Heck you can’t even find a 6.2 Tahoe with super cruise. Dealer said national backorder (probably pecking order more like it)

there are probably constraints on super cruise, so when that happens, GM always prioritizes the higher revenue vehicles…Escalade, Denali, HC, then the Yukon lower trims before Chevy
Yeah, shame is I'm looking for HC Tahoe. I'll just wait. Boo.

Don’t sleep on the Yukon
I’ve looked at it twice. Can’t stand the screen and my local GMC’s service department is super poorly reviewed.

When (LZ0) 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine is ordered, requires (CWM) Technology Package and includes (UKL) Super Cruise.
Interior section-(UKL) Super Cruise, changed footnote 2 to read "Included with (PCR) AT4 8-Passenger Premium Off-Road Package with any engine. Requires (PEH) with (L84) or (L87) or requires (RG7) Premium Trailering Package and (CWM) Technology Package with (L84) or (L87). Included with (PEH) AT4 Premium Plus Package or (RG7) Premium Trailering Package when (LZ0) 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine is ordered. Includes a 3-Year trial.".
The web site may NOT be as up to date as dealer info so you have to account for that. Also the ordering system is down for maintenance on Sundays.

Went to GMC yesterday and ordered a new Yukon diesel with supercruise
I went to the local GMC dealer yesterday. Ordered a new Yukon Denali reserve package , Diesel, supercruise and air suspension. No problems. Hopefully gets in the quota for next week.

So I don't like the screen as mentioned. I've sat in 2 and drove one while passing a dealership on the road.
I went on the website and built a Denali Reserve like you got. Sent to local dealer. They called me the next day and asked when I could come in a look at the car I wanted. I told them it had to be ordered and was just looking for their price. They seriously said they don't discuss price over the phone. I said OK and they hung up.
This same dealership reviews for service is horrendous. I imagine not buying from them would make service even worse.

Customers shopping prices and wanting to order vehicles often get in the way of the salesman's goal for the day to sell a vehicle or two to keep his job and bring home a paycheck. He/she does not earn a dime until a vehicle is sold and orders can take months, if ever, to arrive.
So, I keep seeing '8 passenger'. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Tahoe/Suburban Z71 Diesel with captains chairs in the second row? (7 passenger) On the online configurator it has been setup that way since it went live but I kind of thought it just wasn't up to date.
Don't get a 6.2l engine! Mine died at 28k miles after 14 months new purchase!
No, you couldn't GIVE me a vehicle that had a diesel engine.

As of right now, the Tahoe/Suburban Z71 Diesel is ONLY available with Captains chairs in 2nd row. Frustrating, as I need the bench.
GM is trying to push people that want a bench seat or super cruise, or both, into the GMC Yukon & Yukon XL. I'm sure to inflate GMC sales #'s for some reason
