Thank you for your answer.
What does the display after modification show in terms of wear on the front axle brake pads? Are the percentages still getting smaller and smaller?
The Brembo pads probably wear in a different rate than the smaller originals...?!

Has anybody left the old backing plate behind the brake disc in (with modification), or is this not possible?

I didn't change the brake dust shield on the back of my 2015. No issues with installation.

I have a custom 8-pot Brembo kit, and because of the e-brake in the rear, I was only able to get cross drilled rotors for my Yukon. A year and a half later, and I'm sure someone's probably already figured a work-around for an e-brake setup.

There's a clip that needs to be reinserted into the Brembo caliper to assist with brake pad wear. For mine, the clip is at a 90 degree angle because of the design of the larger caliper, so my brake installer had to splice the wire in order for it to fit and function.

Thank you for all the informations.
I would like to order the 85138043 Brembo Front Performance Brake Kit for my Tahoe, but there are two problems:

I contacted several dealers, nobody has the kit in stock. I have tried to order it since November, but they say the manufacturer doesn´t deliver the kit at the moment. Is that correct? The part number doesn`t seem to be superceeded.

The second problem is that I am living in Germany. Those brake kits come in an oversized package to the dealer. All parts in one package. It is necessary to divide the parts into two lighter and smaller packages to ship it to germany. It seems to be too much work for most of the dealers....

So, if anybody knows a shelf with such a beautiful Brembo kit lying on an the owner wants to help a Tahoe fan in Europe, please let me know...

There are some out there, you’ll have more trouble finding somewhere to deal with the international shipping since most dealers don’t want to deal with shipping. You’ll need to find one that runs one of the parts web sites so they’re used to shipping. Try Shop Chevy Parts, they’re usually the cheapest, too. Might also try eBay as well since those sellers are already planning to ship.

Message the seller and ask if they’ll break it up and ship each part separate.

I asked two sellers on Ebay. They use the Ebay shipping program. The sellers send the parts to the global shipping center in the USA. Then Ebay ships it international. As the package is to heavy that is not possible and the package is sent back to the seller. Ebay does the global shipping, not the seller.... I do not know if it is possible in this program to send "one" item in several packages...

The main problem is, that the dealers are not willing to do a little more work than usual for the money...

Maybe someone of the forum is able to help me?!
