No, it's a 14-bolt semi-floater with a 9.5" ring gear. These axles were used in GMT900 1500s with the 6.0 (L76) or 6.2 (L92/L9H/L94) that were either RWD or 4x4s. The AWD vehicles used the 8.6 10-bolt axle.

I’ve never seen the 14 bolt on a 4WD.

That's cause most 1500 SUVs in this generation were not equipped with the L76 or L9H as a 4x4.

There were a bunch of 6.0 Suburbans and Avalanches with them from 2007-2009, a handful of 2008 6.2 Tahoes all of which were RWD, an even smaller number of 2010 GMC Yukon XLs and of course the 2009 6.2 Tahoes. Oh, and there were 187 Canadian 2010 Avalanches with them too.

My pickups have them as they are 4x4s with the 6.2 as well.
