My 2008 Tahoe Facelift

So I bought my 2008 Tahoe about 6 years ago. Only has about 100,000 miles on it and buying a new truck is crazy expensive right now. So I decided to endeavor on a journey to redo the interior and some of the exterior as well. So far this is what I've done and I will upload more pictures. Just wanted to share in case it would help anyone one.

Sony XAV-AX4000 Head Unit from Crutchfield
Rockford Fosgate Door Speakers
New Tweeters
Dyed the Leather Seats from Tan to Cabernet (Lexus GS F Sport Color)
Painted all Interior Plastics
Painted Headliner
Installed New Carpet
Wrapped all Wood Grain Pieces (Dash and Doors)
Cleared Oxidization from Headlights
Installed SS3 Diode Dynamics Fog Lights
Painted Front Grill
And some other stuff I haven't remembered yet

what did you wrap the wood grain with? I so need to do that. it looks so dated in mine.. but even the steering wheel has wood grain lol

Huh... I like the look of the woodgrain in our rigs. It's never felt dated to me. I must be getting old.

I used this vinyl wrap and bought a small vinyl wrap kit as well so I have the right tools. And yes, I hated the wood grain, plus it wouldn't look good with all the plastics and doors painted in black.

lol.. I honestly have never liked it in any car even when it was in style in high end German cars and stuff. I think it would look much nicer sliver or matt black.

that said I like carbon fiber on race car parts but I hate it on my 08 c6 center trim. it's factory but looks cheap and I know it's just plastic made to look like it, which makes it even worse haha.

nice, I just threw the sliver, black and the kit in my cart. all 3 were. cheaper than one roll of the type S Stuff I've seen.

that looks saw better than I thought it would look. what did you paint it with? I've got a car with tan interior that would look so much better with black, but it's almost impossible to find a parts car with clean enough interior to make it worth the work.

Nice! My interior is already the factory ebony except for the pillars and headliner. I wanna dye it gray instead of the beige it is now. Don't wanna make it too dark. I did a black vinyl headliner in my Jeep Cherokee and it made it feel too small and enclosed.

that looks saw better than I thought it would look. what did you paint it with? I've got a car with tan interior that would look so much better with black, but it's almost impossible to find a parts car with clean enough interior to make it worth the work.

it was the vinyl from the Amazon link you posted. scrolled down and it had the install little kit and some black version of the vinyl too, saying buy all 3 together for 30$. I was like you know, I think I will. haha.
