Some reason I lost the backlighting on my headlight and interior/fog light switches by not in the 4WD switch. :(

This really messed with my head last night driving in the dark I keep thinking my lights weren’t on.

Anybody have this happen and know the fix? Just a new switch?

I don't know how the circuits are in those. But, with that many bulbs being off, I don't think it's the bulbs. Have you pulled the switch out and checked the basics?

Yes I did the basic research. And gave it a love tap / fist bump like you said. No dice. Pre-R&R exercise so I can replace it in a jiffy. Wish me luck.

The bulbs are soldered to a board inside, just get another off Amazon. That's what I did anyway.

Well forget Amazon, too expensive, RA is $30.

I am trying this one.

Will report back.

I bought the same exact one in Jan this year. Feels slightly different, but works fine. I paid $22.90 w/ prime. Started return, but then canceled return.

The only issue I ran into is that it didn't appear to work right away. When went to change it back to OEM the next day so could return, it was working. no issues since. Perhaps ecu needed to be cycled?

Yeah I read that in the reviews.

The mismatch would drive me crazy but glad you got her fixed :)

I didn't know there were even different colors and when I ordered it I saw no mention in the description or the reviews about it. So fk it 20 bucks I'll deal with it.

It’s pretty easy to resolder blue LEDs in. I did -almost all of mine in my NBS.. another half finished project I need to wrap up.. I bought kits from Ebay, which contain the correct LEDs and some instructions.
