Can I replace the front seats in my 2014 PPV with leather, cushy power seats from a non-PPV model?

Thanks in advance!
Dave

Thank you! Is the pigtail the entire seat wiring setup or just a connector? I looked via web searches for Tahoe seat pigtails for my 2014 and found a variety of different items called pigtails on Amazon and autozone.

The pigtail is the electrical connector. There's the male and female--one connector on each harness(wires). One harness comes from the bottom of the seat and the other part comes from the vehicle wiring. You'll want to take as much of that pigtail (harness) as you can from the vehicle harness. Usually, but not always--you can get away with just hooking up the ground and power to the seat to get the power functions to work. I hope I'm not confusing you. I've never been great at explaining things, that's why I never helped my kids with their homework lol.

If it has a seat airbag make sure the connectors are the same ran into this issue Square plug and Round plug. Learned the Hard way there was 2 types it is a easy swap if you cant get the correct one.

there is that I know of 3 styles of connectors Locking style like the tan seat that one has all the options usually known and 6/8 way adjustable, One marked driver side is your usual PPV/SSV seat connector seat only goes forward and back up and down photo below. Have issues finding the 3rd style of connector. If your going to rewire really need power, ground, Seat belt, and Pressure sensor.

Have to dig out wiring diagram for seat connectors have it somewhere.

Also check your glove box for the RPO codes will tell you a lot what is installed/Deleted in your Gm Product example below @dhwright

If all else fails you can buy new leather seat covers from Ebay or leather company and do it yourself if the seat foam is in good shape.

Thanks for all the advice! It seems risky to buy some seats off of ebay and hope they work and connect up. Where would you recommend finding some nice seats?

Probably your local LKQ or pick n pull. If you go to the pick n pull bring a power pack(jump box) with you to test the functions.

Craiglist, offerup, Facebook market place, look for anyone doing a part out. If you would see if you can test them out if not inspect for bent or broken parts under the seat.

Car-part.com
is my go to most of the time if you cant find seats search for a Hood, Door, and etc some places don't list all the parts. Make sure to take the Person name time and date you called and price some scrap yards are good and bad also be ready to walk away if they change the price or not as shown on the website.

Do not know if this is said Back middle seats from a Suburban/Yukon XL/escalade XL will not fit a Tahoe but 3rd row will Make sure to grab the brackets and bolts.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMT900 Makes and models of years that will fit and cross over

gruvenparts.com
One other thing I forgot to say the forward and back and up and down gears are known to grind out, this guy sells brass gear replacements, The Billet GM Heater Core Coolant Tees are epic. I bought there Brass folding mirror brass gears they are a little nosier but I know they will last over the plastic gears.
