This has been one heck of a time trying to get it ordered, GM reached out to 3 dealers, the 1st just didn't want to do it, the 2nd would only with a 7k mark up, finally went back to the dealer we purchased it from, however, we are having a hard time getting the order MSRP equal to or more than what we have. GM won't refund the difference. :(

I went through this hell I am afraid. I had to lemon my Yukon Denali 2021 after 4k miles because it stranded my family and I 4 times with a no key fob detected error. Craziest s*** I have ever seen. I also could not find any inventory and that is how I ended up to going to an Escalade from a Yukon. It was the only way I could find all the pieces I wanted (the Escalades get the priority in the build process).

They did work an ok deal with me on the Escalade. No over MSRP pricing and some dealer care but it is what it is. I am pretty happy with Escalade though. Still some problems but not bad.

Little update, we are still going through this mess. The dealer had ordered a '22 that didn't match what we had sent. GM authorized them to order a '23 instead, however, the dealer has yet to get a Yukon XL Denali allotment and we were just told by GM yesterday that we will have to order the Denali Ultimate to not end up with constraints.

We finally have an order number for our replacement vehicle that was authorized at the beginning of the year.

2023 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate, only constraint was ZM1. MSRP 101k

Well, hopefully since it’s an Ultimate, it will get to front of line. What is ZM1?
On the configurator it is called Enhanced Trailering Technology Package, on the build sheet from the dealer it is called Heavy Duty Trailering Package

Those are 2 different packages.

Heavy Duty Trailering is enhanced cooling radiator + integrated trailer brake controller; and 2 speed transfer case if you don’t already have it and have 4wd.

Advanced Trailering Tech is the trailer camera provisions + 1 trailer camera to either mount inside or on the rear of the trailer, as well as the software enablement for disappearing trailer; I believe.

So you know what those 2 RPO codes are then? These are what is on the order forum.

Also if you go in the configurator and you add the enhanced trailering technology package, and then go get your link to share you will see it has ZM1 in the URL, if you remove enhanced trailering technology package, then share the link it will not have ZM1 in the URL.
