This is crazy what's happening with all these vehicles stuck in a parking lot. I haven't really been following this thread but wonder what happens when GM finally gets all of them delivered and many of them are no longer desired because the customer either gave up or bought something else. I assume the dealer doesn't have to disclose that a particular suv has been sitting in the hot sun for months, like they are supposed to when a vehicle suffers some damage. Maybe it isn't a big deal but if I were buying a vehicle, I'd like to know if it was fresh from the factory or sitting somewhere for months and months.

@esbrittain glad you found a vehicle. Can I ask what the build is?
I am one that came in decently late to the game. I was super excited to see a ton (I mean 100 seems like a ton these days) of duramax with max tow finally show up as "In Transit" on the GMC website, most seemed unclaimed as the ones that ordered them had moved on. This was early last week. Well Friday morning I check again and hundreds of XLs had been pulled from the website including mine. Turns out there is a 3rd row seatbelt recall according to my dealer, so now I have no idea when I might get it....

As a note I do know mine had been sitting for quite a while just by reading through the forums, my vin was a 298xxx and those were manufactured months ago

I'm wondering what the situation is like for those with the panoramic sunroof. A lot of people have reported leaks from new, with GM posting TSB's for how to fix the drain lines. I bet with 6 months of rain/sun, the mold situation in these trucks could cause additional delays.

hopefully GM implemented the fix that was impacting the 2021 models - haven't seen a lot of chatter on the 22s...our 21 never actually leaked, but rather trapped water in the sunroof channel...it'd work its way out after a few days

I saw a post recently for a '22 with the issue, that's what made me think of it.

I think it might be because a lot of the 22s that have been sitting are struggling to make it to dealers. they get their window stickers finally and a status of pending dispatch, just to be pulled back again :(

Buckle up guys, just got word that my Yukon received her chip but now we are on hold bc of a recall on the third row seatbelt buckle retention :( not sure how many vehicles will be affected by this.

Or don't buckle up, if you are in 3rd row and have a bad rivet! :happy175:

In all seriousness, this one should be a quick inspect...but if it needs a fix...may take longer.

They pulled over 600 XLs on Friday for this recall and have been pulling more since then. Mine was ready to ship and now I have no hope again :(

just boggles the mind doesn't it? maybe it's a one off and different issue than replacing/installing the vent tubes, if not...sigh

then again that's one of the reasons we specifically excluded the sunroof in our builds...

wish Dodge would revamp the Durango and make a true competitor and give "us" another option, expedition is probably the only true second option as far as size and affordability...the way the wagoneer is priced it might as well be considered a luxury brand similar to Cadillac/Lexus/Lincoln/Infiniti ...not that I'd buy it, but where's the Chevrolet equivalent of the wagoneer
