When starting my truck it took a couple cranks before turning over, it wasn't bad but noticeable.. for a while i just simply clicked the key to power let the fuel pump prime for a moment before starting.
I replaced it with an acdelco.
Ill try and check proper fuel pressure thanks for the tip. Also gonna try and put the old one back in see if there's a difference.
Your fuel pump might be going out too.

Ordered a powerstop front kit for my daughter's Camaro from Rock Auto. Missing the brake lube and the pads were clearly opened, test fit, and returned then shipped to me!!! WTF? This is my second and last order from them, ever. First order was an Energy Suspension poly trans mount that was missing a bracket. I know they're highly regarded around here, but I'll spend my money elsewhere even if it is more expensive.

Got her a pair of powerstop Z17 front pads for my 2020+ 4 piston brake caliper swap. One of these days the current brakes will start squeaking so I can justify the swap
@blueinkd How are you liking the Z17 pads so far? I'm trying to decide between Z17 STOCK REPLACEMENT BRAKE KIT and Z23 EVOLUTION SPORT BRAKE UPGRADE KIT.
Thanks!

I finally bought a dash cam the other day. Pretty happy with it so far, if anyone is interested, here it is: Kenwood DRV-A301W HD dash cam... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XQMVGLY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The hardline power kit came yesterday, so got that put in today.

Nicely tucked away...

Pretty happy with how it came out.

Oh, and I’ve been sitting on this shifter boot for like 6 months (just for you @Rocket Man [emoji1787]).. after I installed the 2019 shifter, got it all how I wanted it, but my boot was just shot. So ordered a replacement, but it’s a bit of a PITA to take everything back out, and redo it all, to put the new boot on. Finally decided to do that today, so that little project is finally all buttoned up.

Now I have a 2019 shifter boot.. only used for 6 months.. if anyone needs one. [emoji16][emoji106]

Doing some touchup with the AC delco paint pen that was on sale for $14. So far just cleaned the rust out and applied the white. Gotta rub it out and clear still. Probably did 60 spots so far , probably 45 behind the rear wheels

Man, that thing looks sad..! 26093753

Genuine GM 26093753 Automatic Transmission Control Lever Housing Seal
https://a.co/d/3fwHDFz

But personally, I dig the new angle, and color, etc.. of the “Maple Sugar” shifter I put in from a 2018-2019 Esky:

ETA: man, these have gone way up (like everything else..!) I paid about $75 for mine. Of course, you’ll have to swap the rubber boot with the correct one for GMT800 (26093753), and I doubt this color would work with your interior. (Or is that a tan interior…?) The description in that ad is pretty funny..

Hah! I need rocker panels before I worry about touch-ups! If and when I do replace them, I am afraid my fuel mileage will suffer from carrying the added weight... LOL

What I need to do... I noticed that the little lightbulbs in my driver's side switches stopped working. I found a YT video of how to replace the bulbs, but his method is rather primitive.
There must be a better way.

Probably best to go with new replacement switch... Ages eventually catches up with these anyway. By the time you get through replacing bulbs inside, it may not be worth the effort.

I tried this, and for some crazy reason, it just would not work… so I installed a new head unit. Wanted that -eventually- anyway. Lol
I was all excited, then when i hooked up my phone nothing happened. Check and double check... then i remembered my headphone jack doesnt work on my phone. So i had to go get a bluetooth receiver to plug into the aux jack.

I put a new compressor and accumulator and orifice tube in this weekend.
I also redid the compressor connector and the refrigerant pressure sensor connector too.
Purged with nitrogen, vacuumed and weighed the charge back in. Nice and cold. The diode had failed and it was sending a volt spike through the system when it world disengage the compressor clutch. I'm gonna clean the evaporator coil tomorrow with that cool automotive foaming coil cleaner that you feed the little tube up the drain tube and spray.
Dropping it off to get the CV axles and wheel bearings put on tomorrow morning. Gonna clean the coil when I get home.
