Can OEM (or aftermarket) Exterior Cameras Be Added To This Newer Generation Of Yukon/Tahoe?

I'm starting to think that with my "wide-stance" setup, a camera system may be beneficial for the longevity of my wheels. Not only that, but beneficial in a lot of other practical ways. So my question to those of you that have ventured into adding camera systems or attempted to add additional cameras to your vehicles, do you think it would be problematic to incorporate them with GM's newer generation Yukons/Tahoes? ...because of software or possibly hardware issues.

If camera's can't be added and synched with the existing backup camera setup, the "plan B" idea that crossed my mind was to buy GM's existing side mirror cameras and add a mini LED screen somewhere in the interior to monitor my side views.

Bring on the filthy...

Doesn't the AT4 have the Surround Vision Cam system. You get shots down the sides in one of the views to check curb clearance...confused why you need more (not saying you don't), just curious what views you are looking for you don't already have.

Oops, just checked, you need the Technology Package to get HD Surround Vision. Maybe you don't have that option?

I thought that's what the reverse tilt mirror function was for? I don't have mine turned on I just glance up so I can see down.
at any rate camera's can be added to just about anything tons of options out there, not necessarily oem.

I really wanted the Technology package, but it wasn't available on the model I bought at the time. AT4's were scarce (as dealer inventory) for a while because everyone wanted that trim level. And the incoming ones were customer orders. So, I just got one that had all of the basic options I wanted. I originally wanted one fully loaded, but that was impossible to get.

Now I see why you are asking…It’s a game changer and a huge help to have the cameras on a vehicle this big.

Guessing there are some options…Check your local car audio or truck bling shops.

I spoke to my regular GMC parts guy at my local dealership, and he sounded optimistic. I mentioned the puddle light placement being the identical spot where the camera would be mounted (underneath the side view mirrors), but he said it all depends on where or not I have the harness to connect the cameras.

As it stands, I only have a rear facing camera for pedestrians and towing, and that's it. The "camera" button is on my home screen, so the software is already there. It's whether or not two additional cameras can be added to the system.

Do you have the front facing camera too? The one in the Grill? No sure what is standard on AT4 w/ out Tech package.

I have 2 Cameras in tailage, one in grill, one on each mirror, and I think there is a front facing one behind the interior rear view mirror, and not sure where else.
All the views in the video above are available...kind of a bummer you don't have this option, but hopefully you can add.

What you have is the technology package. The one package that I really wanted, but it wasn't available at the time. If you bought your Yukon Denali with any of the Denali packages, chances are the Technology package was included in it.

As it stands, I only have the back up camera. With the "towing package", my rear camera just zooms in closer so you can align your Yukon with the trailer hitch as you back up. Nothing more.

@ProfeZZor X off topic but 4playwheels on instagram was posting pics of your rig and asking for the owner. people love it btw.
I saw that a while ago and sent them the pictures myself... on 3 different occasions. Not sure why they're asking for the owner, when I filled out their website form to submit those pictures.
