Truck had some minor electrical glitches but overall got us there and back. Final mileage on the truck when I got home.

Been working like crazy the last two weeks ive been home. Mom had Covid the end of last week, for the second time around. Thankfully this time it was very mild, she tested negative after only 5 days of symptoms and I was never exposed so I stayed heathy. Neither of us are vaccinated and we won’t be so we are basically saying to Covid “yeah whatever you can’t slow us down….” Lol.

After a little over a year and a half I finally am ecstatic to report I have my own place to live in again! Signed a lease this past Sunday and I’m getting an amazing home renting from the family friends that own the Marina. Mom and I have been tight with them for many years and they bought a property with ideas to use it as employee housing. It’s been sitting empty after a complete renovation so when they said they had a place I took one look at it and scooped it right up. I pay my first months rent on Friday and get keys then, so I’ll share more on Friday and some photos of the new place. It’s absolutely spectacular and for the first time ever in my 30 years of life I’ll be able to park my truck in a garage!

This last year and half living with our friend cindy been great. But it’s time for me to be on my own again and have my own space. So leaving them will be a bit bittersweet as they’ve looked after me so much! But happy that I’m getting to grow a little more! First time ever having utilities in my name…. Hahahah

Yeah it’s been an adventure for sure. Haha. And I’ll be in the garage a lot getting work done and keeping gear organized.

Got some new goodies for the truck delivered yesterday. Boost auto was having a quick sale on 2020 pickup style fobs for gmt800s so I grabbed a pair. Got them programmed tonight and Cindy is making me Denali logos for the backsides of the fobs. They look great. A tad heavier then the previous gen ones that they made for our trucks. But I like it!

Loving my new garage to park my truck in and keep him out of the ram the last couple weeks. Been working but then getting rained out. Mom and I had dinner and cocktails the first night I got keys to the new place to celebrate at the new house with nothing but us and our dinner hahaha.

Been in The new house about a week and a half at this point and just loving having my own space and such a beautiful home. The little things like having a place to put up models and a big set of shelves for all the Christmas cards that my sister and the kids have sent over the years, birthday cards from turning thirty in June from my closest friends, and photos of those closest to me on the fridge are what makes a house a home!

Cindy got me a whirley pop for Christmas since I sued hers so much the last year and a half, but told me I couldn’t open it til I got a place! Been sitting in its box and last week that was the first thing I opened hahah.

Sister got some really cute FRIENDS themed coasters and now I have a place for them and can keep them out! She got me into the show when I was a pre teen and young teenager and we always share laughs over the show.

Absolutely loving my new kitchen setup!

Put the Nali to work today to haul a couch and a matching seat I scored from a big bear sellers group to my new pad! Nice dark cocoa brown leather couch. A little work across the top cushions but she looks good all cleaned up and she’s comfy! Haha. Nali just does whatever I ask him to! Love this thing! Here they are when I rolled up to the house. Managed to get into a battle with the boxes we used for box jumps last night at the gym, and lost apparently. Had to go easy moving those couches just about by myself. Lol picked up a nice digger in the right shin and a few light scrapes on the left. couldn’t finish the workout. Had to get cleaned up and wrapped and sent home.

NO!!! Not using the s word right now! Got hopefully three months before that happens. Haha. He will enjoy being in the garage at east through the coldest parts of the night haha.

Denali has been putting in a ton of work lately. Although thankfully the two days this week that my mom needed the flat trailer towed around with a bunch of stuff she’s helping her friends sell off for their move, we used their quad cab tundra, as they left it with my mom for the first two weeks they're out in Tennessee so she can finish up all the big stuff. Had a lot to do for my mom.
Denali rolled over 170 this week. Gotta get an oil change done, hoping to try and knock that out in thing next couple days.

Got my oil changed last week, tried a K&N oil filter after reading another thread where someone recommended it. Still not seeing higher oil pressure yet. Still need to put a mechanics gauge on it though for an accurate reading. Gotta learn how to do that and also gotta find a mechanical gauge to be able to use…

What’s up gents! Haven’t been on a whole lately as it’s been a busy few weeks for me! But no shortage of adventures! Flew out to Florida the second week of October to celebrate my best friends 30th. It was sort of a mini family reunion for his family as they hadn’t all got together on vacation in a bit so his two older step siblings and they’re kids flew out with us, the boyfriend flew down from Seattle day before the trip and then flew out with us to Florida, his brother and wife flew down from Utah to join, and the his boyfriend’s family all flew down for Seattle as well. That was cool meeting the boyfriends family. I was invited along to celebrate with the best friend and his parents paid for me to go along as a thanksgiving k you for all the stays and taking care of the horses all summer long as I pretty much lived there with as much traveling as they had to do this year. We were there a week, and did eat Disney world. Was cool cuz I’d never been to Florida and had never done WDW there. Did a day at magic kingdom, a day at Epcot, and a day universal studios Orlando. Weather great the whole trip and thankfully the hurricane had pretty much cleared out a few days before we headed there. By far the most exciting part was getting there…. YALL!! I got to fly on the jet that belongs to my best friends parents! Dream come true for me for sure! Even got to sit in the copilots seat for the first leg of the return flight with the pilot. Got to push a buttons and switches lol. And got a headset. Listen it to all the radio transmissions was rad! Blew my mind flying at 43,000 feet!

Epcot was great! Spent the day eating and drinking around the world and loved every minute of it! Got to feed my inner fat kid!

First photo brother’s wife Kate-Lynn, me, brother Bruce, which are the two I for visit in Utah now for snowboard trips, and then best friends 12 year old nephew Jayden down on the end. Third photo is best friends step dad Bruce and then his mom Kim. 4the photo is best friend Dylan on the left and his boyfriend Justin. And then last photo is Kim and Kate-Lynn with a margarita lol. So many wonderful memories made on this trip.
