So I received confirmation out Tahoe was built last Monday. This morning I received an email and voicemail from Chevy customer service that our Tahoe was in transit via rail in Illinois. Where is it dropped from the rail and loaded on a truck for delivery to the dealership? Was wondering the process for delivery if anyone can help? Thanks!

Would you mind providing the name and number of the person that called you? My Tahoe was produced on 5/13 and no one knows anything about a possible ship date (I am in Illinois), including my dealer. I called Chevy Customer Care today, got disconnected while on hold and despite asking for my number, never called me back.

The name of the person that left the message was Tonyaand the number rang in unknown. she didn’t leave a callback number.

This may help: https://aar.com/standards/pdfs/2021 AAR Terminal Guide January 2021.pdf

If I had to guess using that PDF, it'll be dropped off at 200 Crescentville Road West Cincinnati, OH 45246 or 2188 Lyntz Townline Rd Warren, OH 44481 (edit due to the fact i missed the 2nd page for Ohio).

However, all vehicles leaving the Arlington, TX plant are shipped on rail via Union Pacific. The above addresses only unload GM vehicles on CSX. So either its gets transferred from UP to CSX or something else.

Its destination is: 200 Crescentville Road West Cincinnati, OH 45246

(that happens to just barely be in West Chester)

How far are you from Cinci? Curious if its going to get on a car transporter (truck) or something else.

We are about 90 miles north east of Cincinnati.

RST, LM2, lux package, sunroof, all weather mats and mud flaps. Originally had the max tow but finally removed it to get the order accepted.

Just had to throw my 2cents in on the quick turn-a-round from kernss.... what is going on with all the vehicles in Midlothian Texas I've been told from the dealer it looks like first in last out/ to a emission chip shortage, and always no eta on delivery. My Tahoe has been built and has a vin ... been in Grand Prairie Texas for 4 months and now is sitting in Midlothian since April.I guess the best outcome I can hope for at this point is to get it my the end of 2022...I hope!!! P.S. and in the time I have been waiting my dealer has changed ownership to add to the mix<>

Thats the thing, last in first out would mean guys waiting since March like me and April like you would be getting their trucks before the ones built in May. It seems more like its « pick the closest one to the access road ».

You’re probably right it’s a hell of a way to run a company and treat its customers.
