Installed permanent auto stop disable from Autostop Eliminator.

Fairly simple install following video on their site. Works as advertised. So far I have only tested driving down the street and back with several stops, so no long term driving test, but seems solve the problem of annoying auto stop/start function. Highly recommend this install if it bothers you as much as me.

Sold it to CarMax for $46k. Still got my 2002 Denali but won’t be buying another GM.

Made it home!

Came out of the hollers of Kentucky by the Natural Bridge area. Jumped onto the Mountain Parkaway to take the quick way back to Ohio via 75. No sooner did I accelerate then the truck started "thunking" (Yep, technical term here!). It sounded along the likes of a u-joint going bad. No engine codes and but the thunking remained for 250 miles until we got it home to the garage. There was no rhyme or reason as to the cause as it wasn't reproducable in different speeds or accelerations. Since it's an 11/20 build with 9800 miles now, I was positive we would be stranded on the road via the GM lifter saga.

Once everything was unloaded, I started the truck. It started right up and no codes (Guessing as no check engine light). But (A big BUT), there's a very noticeable tapping from the engine.

Cancelling our travel plans for Monday and will call the local dealer when they first open up or I may just drive it over.

Replaced floormats with the dark brown ones from Weathertech. Wasn't sure how the dark brown would look like because they had only generic pics online. They look really great, they're actually darker than in the pictures, they definitely look like a very exclusive upgrade. Highly recommended.

On that note, I have the complete original floormat set for sale if anyone is interested. They're still in mint condition. They're the fancy ones from Chevy, paid $500 for the complete set when I purchased the Tahoe. PM me if anyone is interested and I can send you pics of the set. They're just too good to be thrown away

Just order a set of Gloss Black replica rims for the Yukon. Finding tires was the hardest part. Hopefully everything will be in by next week :)

FYI depending on how good of a deal you got on the replicas, I found that with the current 25% off the GM accessories ones, the cost for the wheels wasn’t much more than replicas. Just a note that caught me off guard since I apparently can’t read, the GM accessories wheels don’t come with center caps unless you order the full wheel/tire packages. It notes that on the accessories page description but I missed it until I was already at the installer with the tires already swapped over. Had to use the stock caps for 3 days while I ordered black center caps.
