i just bought a set of the 05-06 police tahoe wheels and steel center caps, but they didnt come with lug nuts. and it looks llike it requires a special lug nut that is closed and chrome, not open and gold like the regular OEM lug nuts. I went to a few places and they didnt have anything that looked like it would work. Can someone find a part number or tell me where I can get this part? Thanks

You are correct that they are closed ended lug nuts, but do your self a favor and stay away from the factory ones. Here's my truck. The factory lugs swell up and/or crack and it becomes a real pain in the ass to get them off! Look for a different alternative..

Many of them are even worse then the one in the pic, but it's dark out, and that's the only pic that didn't come out blurry..

those are just covers for the actual lug nut. the actual lug nut i believe is open ended as well.

Ok cool thanks for the pic. Any idea where I could find these. I guess I'm going to stop by the stealership and get a part number then maybe go from there?

This is most likely the case, however the chrome covers go over the bottom close to the threads and are crimped on, so you can't removed them..

and OP: DORMAN Part # 711604 I believe

Yup, I agree.

I would look into aftermarket ones, since those lugnut covers will eventually split again after awhile.

How does $55 shipped sound for 24 of these lugs right here, they will fit your Tahoe perfectly:http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GOR-26144HT/
Have an extra set I just want to get rid of already, they were used for like a week so they look brand new.
