Got the oem ones. They do sit high to me.

Also interested in the link

Further, @Apollo13 did you install yourself? Difficult?
Not at all. It was very easy and also comes with keys to lock in.

Weird they've gone MIA. I did email them directly as they were in touch daily as i was testing the crossbars.

I'm going to have to pull the trigger one something in the next 2-3 weeks for the winter ski season. I don't want the OEM but it would appear that's the only option we will have. Come on Yakima or Thule! Pump something out for the winter season!

Same boat. I've owned Yakima and Thule for a long time - neighbor has a 20-teens Tahoe w/ some silver, oval bars (mostly flat) with low profile towers that look awesome. Pretty sure it's these from Yakima:

I do not like the OEM rails at all, all black doesn't look good and they sit way too high. Not a fan. But, it appears they're the only game in town right now. Disappointing.

does anyone know how much height (e.g. inches) the OEM cross rails add?

I see OEM is listed with height of "6.12 inches" but I wonder if that is all above the top of the rails or if if the net height is actually slightly less than ~6 inches...

Anyone know? I would love to add these (or aftermarket, I'm open to that) without having to remove them to fit in my garage (~83").

For some reason it won't let me attach the link. I"m posting here.....so far I'm happy with it and personally i like the look with the larger base that connects to the roof vs the slimmer version on the OEM.

That's a definite improvement over OEM, IMO - however, still want the towers/flat bars that extend like Yakima/Thule - they need to step it up, tons of 21 and 22 big body GMC SUVs rolling out there.

@Apollo13 found the link you posted on the previous page. After doing some digging around on AMZN the biggest complaint from everyone with aftermarket rails is excessive to extreme vibration and wind noise - how are those? And how sturdy do they feel?

Unfortunately looks like only available in black now, at least it appears to be anodized alum. Still getting pretty close to OEM, but at a much better price point. Would love to hear noise and sturdiness feedback.

For me zero issues with wind noise. I noticed another member was selected to try these and perhaps some good feedback to hear his experience.

FYI @Keller55 can respond when he sees the thread but I don’t think his actually fit. He can provide details.

The feet were to small or shallow to grab on the side bars. I really want them to work, but we tried everything. I just pictures to the manufacture

, so hopefully they can fix the design.

Apollo13 it fit for you? I had 2 problems the feet would not grab the side bars and the front bar was a little too long, like maybe a 1/2 of inch.

Sub’ing as I am looking for one also. Only one I can find is the OEM one and some no name/Chinesium ones on Amazon. I think the OEM ones look like they stick up pretty high from the pics, was hoping for some real world feedback before dropping almost $500 on them.
I installed the GM crossbars. We like the look. They are very easy to install and remove as needed with the keys provided. Any parking deck 6'8" or lower you will not fit. Plan for 7' or higher or remove them before entering. With the crossbars installed we are able to squeeze into our garage with about a 3/4" clearance with a 2" RC lift installed on 285/60R/20 Ridge Grapplers.

I ended up buying the GM ones for less than $400. I am trying to see the OEM cross bars will work with a Rhino Pioneer Platform with providing the proper support for the tray.
