Just picked up a '14 Yukon Denali w/Nav. I'm having a really hard time finding a solution for streaming music through Bluetooth. The phone pairing and calls works flawlessly but how do you stream audio outside of running an aux cable!? I see interface solutions for '07-'13 and some for '14 but their compatibility excludes NAV spec. Am I missing something simple in the car/Bluetooth settings or pairing process?

Any advice much appreciated! This is driving me crazy.

Consider yours a 2013 when searching for things like that. Have you been to Crutchfield's website?

Changing year to 2013 yields this - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_249BTSGM1X/Crux-BTS-GM1X-Bluetooth-Interface.html?tp=68488

After reading through the owner's manuals/install instructions for both, I believe this is the right one.
That may not work if your XM tuner is built into the radio head unit.

I bought one of these a couple years ago and I couldn't find the XM receiver that was supposed to be located behind the glove box. My XM antenna runs directly the the head unit. I returned it.

Last sentence on this page. Look behind your glove box before ordering to make sure you have a separate XM receiver

Ah. Interesting. Will take a look behind glovebox. Thanks!

Nothing there. This won't work. Back to drawing board...

On our 2012, my wife and daughter connect their phones to the USB port in the center console which talk to the radio for streaming. On our 2004, my wife plugs a BT adapter into the aux port which connects wirelessly to her phone for streaming music.

68488 works with your navigation radio. A couple of years ago someone posted about these units and which worked best. I remember commenting on it but do not remember any of the details.

I did get the USB working yesterday and will live with that for now.

I was just hoping to find a truly wireless and permanent solution. The 68488 won’t work for my particular application because it connects through an external XM tuner - which mine doesn’t have. My XM antenna is wired straight to head unit so there’s no XM box to tap.

Thanks for the info.

I didn't think that they changed the system since the 2012 update, odd to me. I would give them a call.

Someday I'll get my hands on a 2014 and see if it will talk to our Tech-2s and investigate any other differences. GM also ran 900s in the 2500 and 3500 pickup chassis for that year too.
