So last weekend, I installed husky mud flaps, JLT catch can, and CAI intake. Yesterday and today, drove it from Dallas to Destin FL. Rode like a DREAM. I will never buy another vehicle with a "standard" suspension. I am thoroughly impressed with the ride quality of this truck.

Since the last post, I've done a couple of things. Added a Dashmat. Lost a factory ug nut, replaced all with Gorilla lugs / locks; I loved the factory lugs, but they didn't sell them individually, and they were $245 a set. Installed 1.25" Spacers. TOOK THEM OFF (rubbing splash guards). Had the exhaust done. True duals from cats back.

No more exhaust flaps. Throttle much more responsive; she breaths sooo much better! A little louder, but not A LOT louder. Not obnoxious. Barely any louder inside the cabin. Hand built. And all for less than $1000. And to think, the only aftermarket one available now is Magnaflow, it's not true dual, and it's $1500? Thanks to Kinneys Muffler in Watauga (North of Ft. Worth) TX. Excellent job.

I got this, and used my existing tips:

Love that dual setup. Be nice to hear a sound clip. :)

Sorry. I've had dash mats in my cars since the 90's. Love em. I live in Dallas. My 07 never got the notorious crack in the dash. Know why? DASHMAT! Sorry, @Rocket Man , but I respectfully disagree.
Respectfully, your dashmat did not stop the 'notorious' crack from happening, you just got lucky so far. But your cracks are coming, it's just a matter of time. I'm very OCD, and even my 09
Tahoe LTZ dash cracked. This is even after years of adding foam support to the weak areas.

2007-2012 or so.... You are GUARANTEED to have dash cracks at some point. 2013-2014 is supposedly the dash to get, but I have seen members say even those crack too.

I no longer have that to worry about, as the vehicle was sold. However, it had not cracked after 13 years. So whatever... I still love Dashmats.
