The sway bar bushing bolts have a reduced head, and I had to hammer a 3/8ths on to it after it stripped out to get the old bushings off. All of the parts stores and ace had bolts that were the same thread but a way bigger head. These Moog sway bar bushings have a different style bracket, so I probably could have used the other ones.

I had to cut out the upper control arm bolts. Because they were seized big time. I could only get one of them pounded out, and it was after a lot of pounding, then waiting until the next day to pound some more.

@89Suburban @Alex_M I have been through so many blades. The wife's brother brought me these "torch" blades and I don't know if they cut any better than the cheap ones I had. The bolt cuts fine, but on the one side there isn't really a gap and I have to cut through the bushing. This last one is giving me a hard time still. I used the grinder to get one, but I really don't wanna hit my brake line. I bought whole control arms because I figured it would be easier than pressing out/in ball joints...

Got it cut about halfway and put the breaker bar on it and twisted it off. @89 suburban, I read some of that other thread, and it didn't matter what speed I set the saw to, it ate up the blade without cutting very far. Ive been cutting a couple inches off of these blades to get to fresh teeth. Gotta go hunt down another set of the cam/bolt thingies, and get another can of pb blaster. Hopefully I can get it done today, there are more storms coming

Idk if I did this beating on it, or if it was already like this. Smh, hopefully it doesn't mess with my alignment

Believe that would be the Boulder Ranger District of the USFS. Might give them a call to report:

Boulder Ranger District
2140 Yarmouth Avenue
Boulder, CO 80301

Wonderful, thanks. I'll give them a buzz.

@Alex_M Dont forget to take a trip on OH MY GOD highway. Its beautiful.

Than I would also suggest taking Highway 40, where it intersects with I-70 at Empire, and take Highway 40 to Winter Park.. Another beautiful road, and drive!

If you were healthy enough to meet up, I would let you borrow the keys to my cabin.. But.. :(

Super kind to even have the thought, thanks!

We ended up staying in the National Park last night, down in the basin seen in this picture. Their campground was nice. We were up just before sunrise and were able to go about 1/4 mile from our camp site to watch and listen to a ton of elk crossing. Some were within about 50 feet, we got to see a couple bucks clash antlers about 75 feet off.

I tell you what, you definitely can feel the difference in power in the truck at 9000ft vs 1500ft at home. Feel the difference in the lungs too.

The Miluakee Torch blades are ok, but don't hold a candle to the Diablo Carbide blades. Lennox also makes a carbide blade, but not quite as good as the Diablo ones in my experience. I only had to cut the two bolts on one side of the truck, but I did em both with one of the Diablo Carbide blades. Still had a bit of life left in it, too.

Mine were actually only slightly worn after 2 years but I like the Energy Suspension ones. Maybe you tightened yours too much?
