Motortrend has the following info on the Escalade color palate changes, I wouldn't be surprised if GMC & Chevrolet do the same:

It [Escalade] also loses Shadow Metallic and Dark Mocha Metallic paint as optional colors; new hues include Mahogany Metallic, Galactic Gray Metallic, and Wilder Metallic.

Unless the date slips again, the build sheet for 2022 Yukon orders should be out August 12.

SOB! I knew it! I knew they were getting rid of satin steel. Damn! It’s more than likely that Yukon & Tahoe will lose those colors as well. There were talks of that. I was still debating between satin steel and white frost.

Cannot come fast enough. I’ve been checking GMC site often to see if they updated from 21 to 22 so i can see the new colors.

Due to microchip shortage, hearing '22 will lose blind spot monitoring, lane assist, push button start and other features.

I am seeing premiums exceeding $10,000 over MSRP for remaining 2021 Tahoes and Yukons. Interesting phrasing on the dealer sheets - shows all the options, shipping, prep and then Dealer's Discount, plus $10,000. Guess I will be waiting another year or two before trading in for new features.

Shadow metallic is not satin steel. Shadow metallic is the dark blue/green/grayish combo. Sounds like they are going back to the tungsten color and calling it galactic grey!
