Man I need to clean my seat belts again, and do a better job this time. It’s just such a PIA.

Try to take the seat out this time and do as I've done if u can accomodate that. Removing the seat is just 4 blots and 2 nuts, but u can wash the seatbelts in the sink with a very hot water, washing detergent, go with a brush and rinse it properly. I actually left it soak with the detergent for a night. It's a boring job, but the result is amazing!

Yeah, that’s what I mean by a PIA. I did it with the seats in and I know I need to pull them. I’ve done that when replacing the leather. It’s not the bolts, it’s carrying them in the house. They’re awkward and a bit heavy for an old dude like me. I don’t need to tweak my back.

Today I put in a new throttle body.....Amazon $70. Says it has upgraded electronics and actuator for better throttle response and longevity.
Longevity? LOL the first one lasted 18 years....and maybe it was bad. Computer was throwing a TPS code and went into reduced power mode...twice, I hate those
reduced power mode codes. So we'll see if the TB was it. Hopefully not the pedal as I hate going under there.

And while I was there I did the infamous throttle body coolant bypass mod with this little piece I got from home depot, $2 LOL (1/4 inch, barbed)
Guaranteed to reduce TB temp by 15-20 degrees......reduced IATs may vary based on application but should be lower.

Yeah, I had to ask for help to bring the seat upstairs. I'd scatch and destoy all dry walls around the stairs if I attempted to do it on my own.

It doesn’t do anything. That’s an old wives tale. I did it anyway though, just to make removing the TB easier.

Which brand tb did you go with? Have you checked your grounds? Especially on the ds frame rail under the running board.

AAIgnition....LOL I have no idea. It didn't say made in china. Looked like a reman unit. The side box had bolts instead of rivets.
Lifetime warranty though. Can't beat that.

And it's clean. My old one was OMG filthy.

I'll check the grounds. Thanks for the tip.

My gauge cluster lights are starting to fail one by one and I want to get a custom gauge cluster made (different face and LED lights). I've reached out to a couple places trying to get one made before it cuts out completely. Are there any direct vendors on this forum that can help me out? I'm ready to make a purchase very quickly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Very nice!!!
How did u fabricate a grill in ur dash?
Thank you. I took 2 - 4 and 1/2 inch coax and separated the Tweeter out of them. Then I mounted them to 1/4 inch carbon fiber plate and fabricated mounts for it. It's tight and if you remove the Tweeter out of the center of the woofer cone they fit.

Depending on the year, these guys repair and might build you a custom cluster:

Digital Dash Solutions will sell you a custom one (I'd vouch for this guy, he did my repair and added the tranny gauge, but he no longer does direct repairs):

Why am I not getting notifications to this thread?!!!! I'm really annoyed that it's been like 6 months and MANY members complain about this, and it doesn't get fixed.

It’s messed up. I had @Shaggy fix mine so I’m getting emails again but sometimes they don’t come for a day or two and then overnight I get 30 or so, many of they are duplicates of 3-4 from one thread instead of one like normal. I sent him another PM. It’s ridiculous.
