Anyone out there do a system update yet? Mine just popped up on the screen when I got home from a 100 mile road trip. It says it will take an hour so I will put a trickle charger on the battery just in case it takes longer. I don't want to run my battery down during an update. Just wondering if folks have completed any updates on the 2021s and if they had any issues.
Thanks ahead of time for your input :)

UPDATE------ I survived the update with no know issues. I'll take it for a test drive soon. It took just over an hour to complete and no battery drain since I had the vehicle on the battery charger :)

Let me know if you find any improvements or added features. All my stuff works, so I'm not going to update unless it forces me or it adds more cool features!

My 2020 Colorado updated several times during the year I owned it. I never made any special efforts and experienced no problems with battery drain.

Is there a way to see a list of previous updates for your vehicle? How do you know if you have the most current?

You can go into the settings through the screen interface in your rig. Somewhere in there, there will be a place to check for updates and it will show you the current version. I messed with it back in February, and I do remember seeing it. Sorry I cannot be more specific right now.

I'll check it out. Thank you.

Update was just sent to my vehicle a couple of days ago. It failed twice, noting the vehicle conditions were not acceptable. I'm thinking it may have been too cold out. I was able to install this morning.

I have no idea what was updated at this point.

Having problems with diagnostics information in the app after OTA update. Probably just call onstar for a reboot tomorrow.

Anyone have an actual copy of this TSB #21-NA-044 mentioned here? I can't seem to find it anywhere on line.

may not be an open-source download... article states, dealer update install.

“You must bring your vehicle to a dealer for this software update. It cannot be done “Over The Air” (OTA). This software update will also be covered under warranty and you should ask for a courtesy vehicle if possible.”

I realize I need to bring it into the dealer for this update. I just wanted a paper copy of the text of what is stated in the TSB in case the dealer has no clue what I'm talking about. I keep having the "Check Reverse Lamp" warning pop up and this new software update is supposed to fix it. I'm going to bring mine in next month for the 2 open recalls I have and want this done as well.

^ i had the fix for the check reverse lamp done 2 weeks ago. It hasn't come back since. There's a thread in audio/electronics where I posted the TSB for it.
I've got the "Preliminary Information" Bulletin #PIT5777, but I can't find the TSB #21-NA-044 for the software update where you said this fixed it. Did you post it somewhere else in another Audio/Electronics thread?
Thanks.
