Ditto times 3. The shocks are already deflated most likely and if not they don’t drop that much anyway. Mines lowered though so anytime I work under there it’s jack stands. Pull your spare too if you have one.

ya we were doing that thing (whatever the term is) where you sit crouched take a hit, then someone holds your jugular veins in while you stand up and then they let go and you go into convulsions parents think that is something new NOPE
WTH?? I'm so glad I was into girls and cars when I was a kid. I went through a drinking faze, but I think that's pretty normal for a boy.

My truck is so low I can't even shimmy under there past the top of my chest. Drawback to being lowered.

I was(am) a product of my environment, unfortunately I was introduced to drugs at a very young age. Took a long time to learn to live my life without them sure glad I did though.

Went by the transmission shop this morning he said the torque converter was coming apart and stator, bell housing was toast and something else, he's waiting on some clutches that are supposed to be thinner so they can add more of them, should be in tomorrow and I should get it back thur or fri. Said I am going to be in the mid 4 range price wise

How does a bell housing go bad, unless its cracked or has broken tabs?

that's what I am assuming as well, I wouldn't be surprised by anything I am pretty rough on it sometimes, ya know stop signs and stuff . I didn't ask too many questions he pointed to where it was all taken apart at if I get a minute I will go back take some pictures. I trust the shop and they stand behind there work.

So I guess there WAS something wrong with your trans. Seems kinda spendy considering you can get a built trans for that price but I guess with a R&R it’s not that high. Trannys aren’t cheap.
Edit: I just realized that included the converter, any idea what you’re going with? I know the triple disc billet FTI that I bought was about $1500 by itself.

I can't remember the brand but he said there all made by sonnax basically, it's billet and about a grand, and ya they are a little pricey at this shop but I would rather pay a little more and know it was done right, all they do is transmissions but they will do transfer cases and differentials if needed or requested.

The 6L80 bellhousing has workings built into it, it's not just a bellhousing like the older 4L60/4L65
