DiabLew tune installed and it's amazing how much better the truck drives when you get rid of all the BS and tweak things a bit more.

Tune was the last thing on the immediate to-do list. Will do tranny/rear end fluids in a little while.

Love the Morimoto XB fog replacements. Bright and color matched to the low beams and the DRL LED strip.

by chance can you get a daytime OFF pic, and a night ON pic ???

i would like to see how they look visually in appearance, and also night performance.

Those things look SUPER bright, but still have a great beam pattern. Those Morimoto 2 stroke 3.0 LED bulbs work really well in your halogen projectors. Those bulbs are freaking sweet, watched a few youtube videos on them; automotive specific OSRAM LED chips, completely sealed heat sink fan that blows hot air into the headlight housing producing a similar heat situation as halogen bulbs in the headlight to help melt snow/ice on the headlight lens for us who live where winter is actually winter. They're a very well thought out LED bulb design, arguable the best on the market today.

I've got OSRAM CBI's in my '15 Denali HID low beams but I did order the Morimoto 2 stroke 3.0 LED 9005's for my high beams, should arrive this weekend. These photos have me even more excited for how bright they're going to be.

Let’s see what I can do. My setup is a ‘true’ retrofit, I run the Gen5DIY harness to power the fog lights. They turn on with the low beams and turn off when the high beams kick in. I don’t have a fog light switch to manually operate them (my LS trim and some of the LTs don’t have fog lights from the factory, and I didn’t feel like retrofitting the proper switch was worthy of my time and money).

understood, i am uncertain of the appearance in the day light more than anything....i prefer a natural looking appearance, rather than the exposed LED.

has anyone "upgraded" the passenger front seat from manual to power? just curious if the harness is present at some point, the current seat is heated and leather just not power like the drivers side. this would be on my silverado but I am sure the suv's are very similar in configuration.

Today I gave it a nice bath; It was about 37 degrees so just barely above freezing. With no precipitation on the 7 day forecast I figured why not.

Within the last 3 weeks I got some body work done and started on my chrome delete as well as got some new Michelin Defender LTX's mounted on some OEM CK162's I picked up locally.

Front bumper cover repainted
Rear bumper cover repainted
OEM Suburban RST black window trim installed
Removed side and rear GMC/YUKON emblems
Removed chrome side door molding
Painted rear chrome applique trim above license plate to match; Quicksilver Metallic (not pictured)
Installed new OEM rear all black bumper pad without chrome lip (not pictured)
Installed New OEM/Aftermarket Denali Black Chrome Front Grill
Installed New OEM Black Chrome Front Grill GMC Emblem
Installed New OEM Black Chrome Fog Light Bezels
Installed New OEM Front Air Dam Trimmed

Next on the list is the black out the chrome on the roof rails and chrome trim on the retractable side steps. I'm leaning towards vinyl for these 2 locations. Really happy with how the front grill and fog light bezels turned out. The grill was quite the small project!

last week the dealer replaced the cluster, the cluster seems to be ok now, but the radio is still doing what it used to do plus a new problem.........
i am just driving not touching any buttons
so the dealer has had the truck for 2 days, they confirmed the issue by driving it, they just called me and told me the problem appeared to be the alternator, they replaced the alternator and problem seems to be gone. seems really weird to me, but being these are digital I guess it's possible, I will be able to say for sure once I drive it a bit if that corrected the problem.

I have several aftermarket mods/accessories installed so GM wouldn't cough up for the 2hrs diagnostic time but they did cover the alternator.

the tech wrote:

voltage spiking bcm opening ignition relay, remainder of entertainment and information modules erratic communication, found 100-800mil second 18+voltage spike with cold engine operation, isolated.

I just picked it up and on the drive home it worked fine, I am going to take a nice long road trip on Sunday and I will report back if the problem returns.

Cmoore...NICE RIDE. Very clean approach, working the same direction with my White 17 Burb...

you should look into replacing the roof rack rails with a stock black, rather than wrap...someone i am sure wouldnt mind having the chrome rails.

Thank you.

I looked into swapping roof rails, and went as far as purchasing Escalade ESV roof rails since they’re smoother more tapered in the front and already silver (not chrome). I was going to paint them to match or gloss black but UPS lost the package during shipping. Lost a 7ft. long package go figure. Then I learned that you have to drop the interior headliner to swap the roof rails and I became less of a fan of going that route.

Phil @pgamboa is your best source for that. He’s retrofitted a lot of seats in the pickups.

I believe the driver and passenger seats are power in the SUVs. I can say that when folks swap in uplevel seats to a PPV Tahoe, the power adjust features work. It’s the heated/cooled and memory functions that have to be addressed.

mine already has heat it does not have a option for cooled so I am hoping it will just plug n play, I asked a online dismantler and he said it should just plug in but may not have the pins for power, I have dealt with Phil before for my mirrors. I may hit him up and see what he knows. thanks

Where did you get the rst trim from and did you do the instal? I’m noticing the GM sites all have ludacris shipping prices again. Also, did you have power steps factory?

I removed these beautiful wheels today and drop kit. Now they need a home. Anybody interested?? $2,000 takes all. Giovanna 24" Wheels w/ Pirelli Scorpion Zero 285/35ZR24 tires. Set of 4. Great condition. 1 yr old with 11,*** miles on them. 50% tread left. 2 of the 4 wheels have minor curb rash that has been touched up and hardly noticeable. These wheels new are $2,500 and the tires new are $1,550. So a $4,050 package for $2,000. Local pick up preferred. I will ship at your full expense. These things are very nice. Also included is a BellTech 2/4 drop kit. Front 2” drop spindle and rear 4” lowering coils springs. Another $500 Value for free.
