Hell yeah brother!!

That shift reminds me that I need a tune. I think I could shift my old SM465 in my R30 faster than my Burb shifts.

You have a 4 speed? Mine is a 6 speed. I didn't think I could do a servo.I found conflicting info on what part does what, but trans mods are Corvette servo, Sonnax Fourth Gear Super Hold servo, ACDelco "Long" Apply Pin and whatever was altered in the tune. The tuner told me specifically that he doesn't just crank up the line pressure to speed and firm up the shifts like a lot of novices.

Just rolled over 245kHow many miles? You might get away with just a slight refresh instead of a complete rebuild.
I'm at almost 50k more than you my friendMiles? Pfft. 200K on mine and been beating on it since 146K. Cammed it, raised the compression and am now beating on it harder. There's only one way to find it's limits...

Hey nice build thread! I been searching about corvette servos here and your name keeps popping up! I was wondering how the install went with the longer pin? I think I read you had 1/8'' of travel on the servo before you put the longer pin and corvette servo in.
Awesome. I’d like to do this sometime. Sounds good man!Went for a test drive and made a couple of videos:
The revved while parked one was only to about 3,000 RPM. I definitely have a small exhaust leak and I think it may be where the shaft in the cutout goes through the tube for the gear drive. Not much I can do about that.

Nice work, Chris. I've seen electronic cutouts for my car and would love it, but I'm under warranty for another 62K miles. Not brave enough to jeopardize that in any way.
Man I'm always around. I lurk a lot to make sure everyone's behaving. My biggest complaint about my car is lack of exhaust note inside the cabin. I mean I love the isolation most of the time, but you can tell that engine has so much more to offer with regards to aural stimulation. Electronic cutouts would be perfect. But oh well. Yours sounds great.Thank ya! Good to see you around.
They're definitely not worth voiding a warranty over. i just wanted it for fun.
I've also been opening and closing it at various cruising speeds/RPM to see if it affects my instant MPG. As expected, I've noticed nothing. This means, as expected, my muffled side isn't a restriction at all.
