Installed these parts Saturday morning on my '07... It only took about an hour or so. The hardest part was definitely getting the friggin snap ring back on the tranny housing after getting everything put back together and installed.

Anyway, took it easy for a few minutes driving it at first. Then got on it a couple times and WHOA! The first time it hit second it activated the traction control! So I turned the traction control and the Stabilitrack off and next time I went full throttle 1-2 it chirped the tires!

Now, it was cold outside and the pavement was dry--but covered in a bit of a salty residue after all the snow has melted off. That's probably the reason for it being able to spin the tires...but it wasn't able to do that before.

Now, I have the Hypertech on the regular tune (not much gain) but I do have the transmission firmness increased and I adjusted the shift points up 300rpm. It's amazing how much the higher shift points help during extended full throttle acceleration.

Anyway, it's getting more and more fun to drive this thing! My Mustang obviously still takes the cake....but I can't complain about the 'Hoe!

Definitely an improvement in 1-2 shift and snappier, more positive kickdown/downshifts. I probably won't be able to see the gains in the 4th gear servo until I do some towing.... I got all the parts for $83 total after shipping off eBay and highly recommend this mod.

SW CT,
Nice, glad you finally got it on there...you'll notice the 4th gear when the cruise control is activated and you start climbing a hill on the highway...it will stay in OD longer before the ecm commands a downshift.

Ordered my servo W/longer servo pin from Oregon Performance today. Had my BB tune this last Sat in Houston and Justin recommended the servo. Justin told me it should shift about 40% firmer from having the servo installed. Cant wait to get this installed !!!

You don't need the longer pin. See if you can cancel and reorder just the servo. Save yourself a few bucks...

There are a couple steps that are a pain in the dick, but nothing terrible at all. Just take your time and follow those write-ups and you should be fine.

Thanks for the help brutha!

Decided to get a Transco shift kit installed along with the corvette servo tomorrow. I already have a modified exhaust, cold Air intake and a Blackbear tune so I'm hoping this will be a pretty noticeable difference !

You might want to ask Justin about your tune... He might be able to change it up and improve it a little bit now that you have the shift kit and better servo installed. I'm not sure, I don't have a BB tune, but I would imagine that he could make some improvements in the TCM now...

Those are the same products I used in mine. I was unfamiliar with them prior to ordering, but they seem to be of pretty good quality.
