My mother in law got a 2007 Yukon xl and I’m trying to get her in complete working order. I’ve donated a couple things from my totaled girl that I kept from September. Her rear hvac controls do nothing. She has manual controls up front, but the rear is automatic, but doesn’t do anything. Doesn’t show anything, even when pressing the RSE controls. Is it “common” for these to go out? The fuse inside is good and everything’s connected. Thanks guys!!

attached is a picture of her girl, next to mine. Makes me REALLLLY miss my Yukon!

I believe it’s common. Easy swap and cheap on Rockauto. It’s plug and play so no programming required.
Got another one and changed it out. Same thing. Nothing working. The evap in the back drips like it’s on, but there’s no fan speed, and sound only comes out the front. Next will be removing the radio and checking behind it. Any advice?

Is there a lockout button for the rear controls up front? On the 2015+ body style, pressing the lockout button turns off the rear HVAC display since the rear passengers can't change any settings.
