2007- up aftermarket hood

Anybody know of some after market hoods out there for 2007 and up Yukon ? Trying to get something different.

Yea, all I saw was scoops and mods. but not the a actual hood.

Pickings are very slim, with little variety. I've not heard of BMC before, but have previously purchased a Cervini's hood that fit great.

Kind of looks like an HD hood of sorts. I like it.

Hmmm speaking of that an HD hood should fit. Have you looked at the different hoods on other Chevy and GMC models?

I finally ordered that hood I mentioned earlier and can't be happier with what arrived today, now to get it painted.

They do offer a second design now that's flatter overall so the scoop part sticks up higher.

Carbon Fiber. I don't think they make them anymore like this except in fiberglass.

I had looked into aftermarket hoods for my Yukon and you are right. They sell scoops, but not full hoods for 07-14 Yukons. I thought about seeing if one of those Cervinis aftermarket Tahoe hoods could be modified to fit a Yukon. But at that point it would probably be easier to just customize a Yukon hood with whatever scoop you like, rather than trying to make a Tahoe hood line up with the Yukon fenders and headlights.

This is the only hood I found for Yukons, not sure if that's the look I had in mind. But it's not bad looking

I replaced my 2007 Tahoe LTZ factory hood with an Amerihood fiberglass cowl hood with ram air vents.

The hood is great quality and fit incredibly well with stock mounts. The ram air vents are routed to the factory or aftermarket air boxes and cowl vents heat out of engine bay. Just painted and installed... and added hood pins for additional safety.

The only thing I’ve seen for the NNBS Yukon is the fiberglass ones, maybe one or two designs and I’ve heard of nothing but trouble with fit and there’s one member here who showed his flexing like a noodle when he was pushing down to close it. Tahoe’s and Suburbans have several options in steel hoods though.

I agree that many fiberglass hoods flex. Important to get one that is properly reinforced and has well designed mounts and latches. Stay away from Duraflex if you want a stable hood. The name says it all. I am very happy with Amerihood... fit great, feels solid, just prime, paint, and install... but still used hood pins as additional insurance.
