Having a hard time finding the efan harness I want to convert. I know I definitely do not want the Nelson kit, since it likes to burn down trucks.. so since I haven’t been able to reach @ScottyBoy, I’m looking around elsewhere..

Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Or any knowledge? Good / bad..?

Any feedback is much appreciated. I’m also 100% open to cleaning up a factory setup, and replacing anything needing attention, I can solder / wire, etc.. just fine, but there are so few NBS trucks in my junkyards around here, that it’s really tough to find one there as well.
I would hold off until I found a factory harness, from my experience. All the aftermarket ones you will be taking a chance on them melting. Just found one on EBay, $150 but it’s worth it. Better jump on it! https://www.ebay.com/itm/184163146492

as bad as it is, its not as bad as m90 supercharger oil thats got 100k+ on it lol you literally cant wash the stink off if it touches your skin for a day or longer.

Something for me to look forward to in about 80k miles.

Dude!!! I thought it was like bad or something. Like a bad egg lol
Stinky. My first time changing it on any vehicle.

Can’t say I’m looking forward to it either...but it’s gotta get done, right?

Just did! [emoji16][emoji106] thanks Mark! I was busy doing manual labor today...

Don’t you just love pulling old posts and concrete out?

Untreated cedar?

You're a better man than I, @Sam Harris. I've learned to move about a foot or two over from the existing posts and dig there. I pulled one concrete chunk out a few years ago and promised myself to never do that again. I dug three this spring and they're all offset the same. When the time comes to replace the fence, they're all in place and it's all above-ground work. With the wind we had a few weeks back I'm sure glad I did them earlier.

Now I'm about to embark on a deck replacement that requires min. 8"x36" concrete caissons to support it. Oh, boy. Auger rental time....

Yeah I cheat and use the post repair things that you drive into the void between the concrete and broken post with a sledge hammer and use screws to attach to the post with.

Holy crap. That’s going to be a big job! [emoji15] yeah if I were doing the whole fence I might move a foot to the side, just replaced a couple though today.
