Hey Ladies and Gents,

Been in the GM truck game a long time, and picked up a clean '04 Tahoe LT 4x4 last year. Moved from Texas to the Tacoma, WA area last year and the used truck market pricing is insanely high here compared to Texas. Older Tahoes and Yukons are an absolute steal for some reason, so I decided to go that route. Heres a few pictures:

How I bought it:

Here's how she sits now:

Torsion key lift, leveled rear, Centerline Sniper III on 33x10.5' Cooper AT's. Stock otherwise with a double din h/u, and few little tricks and cleanup. Planning on a top end overhaul soon since the 5.3 has formed a pretty decent lifter tap at startup and its a dog down low. Ill get a build thread together when it gets exciting. Next year or so will add:

212/218 cam, built 243 heads, LS7 lifters, local dyno tune, all the hardware and maintenance in between
Colormatch black and chrome body parts to red, HD hood
E-fans

Past rides include an '07c Sierra with a mild build on the motor/drivetrain, '90 K5 Blazer, '01 RSCB Silverado w/ airride, and a '94 S10 Blazer. I'm sure I've seen some of you around other forums (Custom GM, PT, GMFS), and its good to be here.

Welcome from NJ Brandon, glad to have you aboard. She's looking really good too. Glad you swapped out those rear tails! How's the interior? What's your mileage?

Appreciate it. Yeah those tails were gone fast, they got the 'copy-machine-from-office-space treatment' before they went. Interior is plain 'ol grey leather with a sunroof, pretty decent shape. Just rolled 170k, strong runner so far as long as I can get a few more miles out of that 4l60. Eyes are peeled for a 4x4 4L80.

Welcome to the forum from Iowa. Love that color on GM trucks.

Thanks fellas, yeah I love the color - its a unicorn. .02% of all '04 Tahoes sold came in Victory Red, was shocked to find one and in decent shape. Not a retired fire marshal truck or anything.
