Has anyone modified or moved the windshield washer fluid reservoir for more wheel well clearance?

In my Silverado I used an ON3 Performance turbo mustang washer fluid relocation tank. just need to modify the wire harness and find a spot to mount it. On a different note, I’d give my left nut for one of On3’s twin turbo kits. 700 hp would be fun in a Tahoe

I went from 275/60/20 on stock LTZ wheels 20x9 (+31) to 295/65/18 on Fuel Trophy 18x9 (+1).
I had already completed a small nor-cal mod and pulled back the liners in the front after trimming the bumper brackets some. Now with the new wheels/tires I’m barely rubbing the liner on the drivers side front where the windshield washer fluid reservoir is. At least I’m not rubbing the sway bar anymore like the LTZ wheels/33’s.

I purchased a universal style square reservoir and am about to tackle installing it in the secondary battery tray. I’m moving the pump and sensors over to the new tank. The only downside is I’ll lose my rear washer but I never use it anyway. Has anyone here done this before?
I saw a thread on gmfs where a guy did it on his nnbs Silverado and it should be the same.

I'm really looking for a replacement tank too! did you find anything? Ideally, I don't want to have to mess with any wiring, i'd like it to be plug and play. Also, not really wanting to lose my battery tray (may want to add another batt at some point)
I did read where someone went to the junk yard and used one from (I think) a Crowne Vic??

Mine has the washer fluid delete mod at the moment. I have considered using a universal one but space in my engine bay is limited. Now that I’m on extended break, I might have to look into it again!

I looked at my engine bay, looked at options, and decided the On3 reservoir made sense for me. It fits in my limited space, it’s not ugly, and it includes a pump. At first I thought $75 was a bit much but that’s about what a new OEM plastic one with pump would cost. It’s ordered. Thanks for helping me spend money @Dantheman1540. It will be nice to have washer fluid.

I’m putting it to the left of the radiator but the engine bay on my Silverado has tubs that take up a lot of room. The fuse box, battery, and coolant overflow tank are all relocated.

That's exactly where mine was and I had no issues with it. I guess I just like moving and complicating things.

I got it installed today. Super easy. I just lengthened the OEM wires (2 wires) added connectors and ran a new 1/8” hose.
