Happy New Year everyone. All caught up with pending work as of today. Within the last week we had items for the Duramax, the 2002 ECSB, and now the 2011 CC done and ready. The exterior Escalade door handles I picked up months ago from another member. I forget which forum it was. Either way they are prepared and updated and ready for assembly with billet door handles in lieu of the usual plastic door handles.

Next steps will be to get these items installed. I already started gathering the next set of items needed to continue with the mods and updates.

sounds like you went in to cheap. foot of snow here is a easy 150 for a two car driveway and walks ways.
I probably did! I'm going to talk to a couple people and see what the going rate is around here and go a little cheaper being I only have a snow blower.

Wow. Those look bright! What kind of lighting..?
https://vetco.net/products/super-bright-10watt-led

Used thermal epoxy to set them under the hood and coated in conformal coating

Used a 300w current limited / adjustable voltage step-down to take it from battery voltage to 11.2v, which is where I found I liked the brightness best

Tossed everything in a project box, sealed it up, wired to the cigarette lighter fuse under the hood

So Now that @iamdub is sending me some blue tint film to wrap the digital displays in the cluster and climate controls.. I’m wondering.. has anyone taken their onstar mirror apart to swap the LEDs, or wrap that display...? Hmm.. seems like that would look pretty sweet..

Ok. So I left the house today, after letting the Yukon warm up for 10 minutes or so.. I drove about 3 blocks from my house, and turned a corner.. DING DING DING DING.. the dreaded sound. DIC said “DRIVER DOOR AJAR”, and the motor shutoff! I coasted to the right, and came to a stop. No idea went wrong. She started right back up, and no further issues running a few errands, but wtf. I know I need to do the big 3, but other than that, any ideas? I’m imagining this happening as I’m pulling into traffic to merge on the highway or some shit..!

Not sure why it would shut off (!) but the main door switch panels are known to get dirty and intermittent, and that can cause the Door Ajar message. I need to remove mine and clean it since sometimes my interior lights don't go off after I exit, so I watch that carefully.

EDIT: might see if there are any stored codes.
