Muricaaaa! What a transformation on that rig. Bumper looks insane. Oh what fun it is to have a toy man.

Sound system is nuts.....I'm deaf just from the video.

I always tell people that these 00 - 06 vehicles are just adult legos :) so many different combinations and things you can do!

today I finally took off those ugly ass moldings on the side:

also threw on my replacement cheap chinese crap rear hatch handle :)

LOL! so funny you mention that

I'm about to leave in 10 minutes to go purchase another NBS Tahoe ;) not sure if it will be for myself or my sister

my sister is graduating and moving to SC, and our family wants her to have something reliable so they are urging me to sell her mine

unfortunately I think mine might be a bit out of her price range now haha

I definitely avoided tallying this up for a long time, but my sister wanted to know what to expect if she wanted similar mods on her soon to be vehicle

Oh... I hate looking at my sheet. Find myself reaching for a match.

For the sheet, not the truck. Lol.

yeaaahhh. luckily I will be able to get most of my money back when I sell the audio and vehicle eventually :)

haven't lost money on an SUV yet

That's why don't have one for any vehicle I mod , especially my race car....lol.

I watch a lot of racecar modding YT channels (justa6, streetspeed717, etc) and I can only imagine how expensive it is

luckily I just like slow and loud (for now)

lost another hatch handle today

I don't think I even got to use it once before it broke :(

I'm thinking now that it has less to do with cheap chinese handles, and more that the vibration is tearing them apart. I haven't had any trucks in the past that were this loud

gotta figure out something, and I really hope I don't end up having to use one of those gloss ones..

It’s the handle. Get an OEM one and PTM.

I'll get some more pictures up tomorrow and a build log going soon, I'm sure

Oh man, side by side, those molding are hideous. I'd normally say I'm an oe type of equipment fella but that's a huge visual update.

dad rigged up what he thinks will be the answer to keeping hatch handles on

we'll be putting it to the test soon, as I'm getting a new box, much larger battery, another amp and hoping to double my SPL level :)

Good idea. I’m assuming the factory handles are made the same way?

been working a lot on the sister's truck lately, but finally started putting some plans in motion for mine

swapping from 4 18s down to 3 18s. going from a box I designed, to one designed by a professional. single layer on mine with 2 baffles on top, to 2 layers all the way around and 3 on top

also purchased a bigger G30 lithium battery for $1100

and working on setting up a deal with my builder to build some new doors, with 2 12" mids per door

hopefully have some updates around the beginning of November :)
