Thx man. We are looking at the inner tie rod right?

Is it worth doing the inner and outer tie rod ends or just the inner for now? Or anything else at the same time for that matter?

I mean we could refresh the whole front end with one alignment, but may not have to if the other parts are still in good shape plus it is a bit of $$ to do it all at once.

moog should be fine, if the end's are within budget I would just do them at the same it's going to have to get aligned afterwards either way, you can put them on yourself and then just go get the alignment done, just eyeball the shit out of it when you do it otherwise you might get death wobble on the way to the alignment.

Thx. I saw Mevotech as well. Sounds good on both ends. Will check around for best prices. I watched a couple videos about making sure to mark/measure exactly before removal. I would like to do the project myself to save on the labor. Any other special tricks to share?

The inside bolt can be super tight after sitting on there for years just use a couple right sized box end wrench's, if it wont break loose hit it with a torch, doesn't look like any rust so you should be good, the ends are easy just take the nut off and smack it on the upper side end with a hammer 2-3 times and it should pop right out, if not a wedge tool will work I forget what the tool is called ~~pickle fork!

Did the transmision oil filter and did I make a freaking mess. I wish the pan would have had a drain bolt.

Does your pan have a drain bolt?

Lol. Have seen the pickle fork mentioned on here. Ok cool. Not too much rust, or Northeast rust per say. Guess it is time to find parts.

Do you think the inner tie rod damage has anything to do with being lowered and the change in geometry from OEM or just wear and tear over the years? Just curious if any thoughts?

@Rocket Man Do you have any input on the change out (parts of process) or anything else to look for while under there and things are slightly torn apart?

After 4 at the Chevy dealership I packed up and rolled out for a much better offer. Also dropped the tank and cleaned the evap lines. Now I can put more than 6-8 gallons in it

I couldn't comment on it being from the suspension being lowered but it looks like normal wear & tear to me
