I also had a Crown Vic in my fleet for awhile. I always had a soft spot for Ford Panthers.

I have a 2004 Grand Marquis myself. Bought it for my 15 year old son to learn how to drive and work on a car.

My wife entered it into an Auto-Cross event so she could race! It was rather interesting to see it run after those little miatas.

grand marquis and autocross don't seem like they are supposed to be in the same sentence.

Yeah, you're right, but it was a lot of fun! I ended up entering also with the same car. It made for a great day of drifting and power slides while avoiding cones. The under steer was insane. The Miata's were running the course in 44s while my best was 51s. Not too shabby if you ask me. My wife went from 71s on her first run to 58s on her last run. Prior to the event I put Police Interceptor suspension on all four corners to stiffen things up and put high performance rotors and pads on the front. It needed brakes and shocks anyways so why not?
