Everything was ok today, until I threw the belt--again. Grabbed a replacement idler pulley from Advance Auto. The design is a little different on the new one--not as concave as the stocker.View attachment 227831

Have you checked the alignment on your pulleys? I can understand slipping but it shouldn’t keep throwing it unless something is wrong like a bent pulley or something out of alignment.

I eyeballed it really quick, looked aligned. My buddy had mentioned a few weeks ago that it looked like I needed an idler pulley. I'm hoping that's it.

ever replace the power steering pump? if you dont get the pulley back on just right it will toss the belt.

Got a new under hood light. Tested it out while blowing the evap lines out. The canister came apart.

This is what i did today. Worked on gutting the rest of this. Going to take the engine to the speed shop in 2 weeks. So far with the set up expected , should hopefully make 600 HP. Updates will follow!

Finally installed the custom rocker switch panel from OTTRATW and Rocker Switch Pros. Put it in the console where the cassette player was. Then last weekend spent all day Saturday filming B-roll in Brooklyn.

Came with a charger and a 4.0 battery. I have a ton of Milwaukee stuff. Can use all the batteries I can get lol. Matco guy wanted 225 for one with no battery. I think it’s a good deal.

They're good. I was concentrating more on the idler, making sure it was the correct width and alignment with everything else. It is. Cheapie scanner took a shit. Thankfully I grabbed my good scanner.
