My passenger side high beam LED was starting to go. So I ordered a new set off amazon. Nothing incredibly exciting. So I really like the Vouke bulbs I have in my low beams. They perform pretty well and after 3 years of running them they still work perfect. The Vouke LEDs I bought for my highs are a different story. After only 2 years the right side was turning yellow, and the assembly has been broken for a while now.

Will test light output, color, and bulb alignment tonight when it gets dark and I’ll post some shots. Should be the same as the others because I picked a set with the same lumen output. Not sure what bulbs were colorwise, but the new ones supposedly are 6500K. We shall see about that.... lol

I needed to warranty one of my voulke low beams. They made me cut the wire in 2 and send them a pic--to prove it was ng, then they sent me a new one.

Swapped back to my hids, til the replacement came from China, which actually didn't take that long.

And looking out over the road. Color on the highs is about the same as the old high beams. Looks good to me! Haha. I know it’s not a fancy retrofit plus customs HIDs and what not, but still way better than stock!

So I kinda went MIA for the weekend a bit. Took off from big bear Friday evening for a little two-ish day trip. Over 500 miles on my truck in just two days. Haha. It was worth it though! And traveling is just fun in my Denali! At any rate drove to Rancho Cucamonga and picked up my best friend. And then we rolled out to studio city to go to Oil can harrys to go line dancing! Great night of dancing! Then back to Rancho to crash at his place. Up for hours later to roll out Gardena to hit chemical guys for rides and coffee. And it was great! Got some good variety this time around! Starting mileage on the way out of big bear:

Finished off the weekend at my sisters house in Riverside. My 9 year old nephew decided he was getting baptized and made phone calls to all the close family to ask them to be there to see it. So church this morning and then the baptism right after service! Wonderful way to spend the morning. Drove home and then worked this afternoon with all the new goodies I picked up from CG yesterday! Their torq big mouth foam cannon is absolutely insane! I love the new cannon!
And my final mileage as trucks parked in the driveway tonight.

So my new fob got delivered today. I like it so far. I thought I’d be annoyed with the boostauto parts logo on the back, but it’s barely noticeable. But I’m gonna wrap it with some carbon fiber wrap I have for another project, and Denali logo that I have sitting at home that would work perfect on the back of the fob. At any rate the new fob works well and programming it is pretty simple.
