Well $924 for reman AC Delco reman at dealership.. or $398 at rock Auto AC Delco reman . There all reman steering gears so all aperson can do is guess and cross the fingers. [emoji106] And get a warrentty. Less you know a steering gear rebuilder.
But with 175,000 on steer gear is it worth a rebuild .
And new seals proved its still leaking to.. it's just that war out. After 120,000 miles your living on barrowed time when comes to a steering gear. [emoji106]

That doesn’t explain “BBB industry’s steering gear”?

Apparently just a reman brand.

Doing a little

eh? The Beast should smell good for a few days.
Yep, about 100’ of cedar privacy fence to replace the “ good neighbor” fence that’s falling apart. Plus I hate the new renters next door. The new puppy also doesn’t need to be able to see the dogs they have so hopefully he won’t dig under. It’s the only part of my back yard that hasn’t had the fence replaced in the last few years, about 1200’ total, all done in privacy style.

So I was doing something today for about 5 hours or so.
My 01 tahoe has power mirrors with heat and courtesy lights, w/o power fold and turn signal. I purchased a set of dl3 power fold w/o courtesy light mirrors. Didn't like that they didn't have the courtesy lights, so I combined both mirrors to make one.
Now I have powered mirrors w/ power fold, turn signal, heat and courtesy lights.

Now where’s the pics? Actually.. that’s a thread. Where’s the thread then?

I think @Tonyrodz might be interested in this project.

Finally got to paint her after she was side swiped while parked. Going to let the paint dry a week or so before i sand and buff it.

That's pretty sweet [emoji106] lots of hours though I bet.

I seen a 2008 Escalade ESV looked just like new in Walmart parking lot the whole passager side was all wrinkled bumper to bumper. From a fresh side swipe off the freeway. Even I felt sick looking at it .
And it wasn't even mine. Some young gal driving it with couple kids in back seat .. kind looked like she veered into a vehicle not knowing it was there at about 75 mph .. kinda looked wrinkled up like a pop can but on a large scale. Otherside could pass as show room condition.

I was talking to my neighbor today and I noticed this:

20190614_171605-jpg.224914

WTF!!?? I swear it wasn't like this a few months ago. It's on the front ofthe roof too, but not as bad.

I didn't click on "like" to this post, 'cause I don't like what I saw....

Oh, oh...... Clear coat....... At least it's on the roof..... So, sanding & spray a Dupli-Color clear on those areas might help it from spreading..... Maybe help from spreading..... maybe....
