Wet trunk in new to me truck

picked up a 97 4x4 4 door a week ago.
88k original- been sitting for 10 yrs. clean truck. dirty from sitting but overall clean truck.
did front brakes, changed wheel and tires. work in progress....

but i did notice the truck had a plastic liner in it. looked a little stained.. pulled it up and the rug looked stained as well...but also damp.

ran through car was the other day after putting on new wheels and tires and noticed a drip in the back.

any of you guys have this issue or know the fix?

id really like to keep this truck.. first 4x4 i ever owned. going to lower it some but keep 4x4 functional.

Most common is at the boot where the wiring goes through.

I think it's been solved with either replacing the boot or some silicone.

Obviously, take a good look at your weather seals while you're back there.
