Cleaning the jambs after the winter muck, noticed the washers around the rear glass strut studs were rusting (surface) and bleeding onto the paint. Took off the studs and washers, soaked in trans fluid and a couple pumps of Lucas red grease for good measure. I’ll wipe them more in a few days once the oil and grease has soaked in.

Didn’t do anything to it, but used it to haul new tires for one of my toys.
Tires and brake pads, that’s where my disposable income goes all summer long. Lol

I'm probably due for this as well, I have found the same curb as your wife, and there's a slight 1/8" gap between my air dam and bumper on my drivers side before the wheel well.

Yeah you can't be fooled by the fact you're in a full-size SUV, the K2XX front air dam's are no joke. I think I'll be trimming my next one so that it's straight across and get rid of those lower pieces on the outsides.

I looked at the police option, but decided the original looked better on my car. But agreed, you shouldn’t be fooled by the “full size truck riding high” mentality with these trucks

can any one post a picture(s) of under the hood, I am trying to see how the battery ground cable is connected to the block and where the other end bolts to the frame at. I have the nmbs but I think I can use the ground cable from the 2015+

I couldn't see where it bolts on from the photos, but I poked my head under the hood of one in the parking lot at my kids school that was waiting for there kid to get out, didn't have my flashlight but it looks like it bolts on to the block down by the starter somewhere? and where it bolts to the frame I couldn't see

Installed the front air dam. As with everything else GM engineering, unnecessarily over-complicated. Not hard, just time consuming.

Good to hear, sorry took a ‘phone vaca’ while on vaca...

1475 miles, 23 hrs and 45 minutes, 70-75 the whole way and 23 hrs back home. Truck is at 7200 miles now. No issues.

I can safely assume that was from down in Marathon. I do not know how you do that. Have not made such awesome time like that in over 30 years.

Left Miami for NYC April 18th. Took me 33 hours. North Carolina was a disaster due to constant monsoon rain and a dozen crashes. Each crash had a 10 mile back up. Virginia was even worse due to Tornado warnings around 7:30pm so got off the road in Emporia.

The Tornado came in around 7:40 and was out by
8:30 or before. Homes in the area had a lot damage from trees. I-95 had some debris from trees. The next day the rest of Virginia,Maryland and Delaware had extremely slow traffic. Average speed was 0-45 for the most part. New Jersey was okay. I just picked the wrong time to go up there as usual.

Glad it worked out for you. Going back to Miami next week so I will expect the worst.
